10x Folding Jeweler's Loupe for Mineral & Crystal Inspection
A compact 10x inspection loupe with an optical glass lens, a folding metal housing and a protective carrying case for examining the finer details of your mineral collection.
01 / SEE THE DETAILS
A Closer Look at Every Crystal Face.
The smallest features can reveal a great deal about a mineral specimen. From crystal-face patterns and fine surface textures to tiny visible inclusions, the oravunel™ DetailScope Folding Jeweler's Loupe gives collectors a convenient way to inspect details that are difficult to see with the unaided eye.
Its 10x magnification and optical glass lens provide a closer view for routine collection examination, while the folding design helps protect the lens when the loupe is not in use. The black metal housing gives the tool a clean, understated appearance suited to a dedicated specimen-care workspace.
A protective case is included to help keep the loupe covered during storage and transport. Small enough to carry with your other collecting accessories, DetailScope is a practical companion for home collections, display cabinets, mineral shows and field identification work.

02 / BUILT FOR CLOSE INSPECTION
Purposeful Details in a Compact Tool.
01
10x Optical Magnification
Enlarges the apparent view of small features, helping you examine crystal faces, mineral textures, tiny surface details and visible inclusions more closely.
02
Optical Glass Lens
The glass lens provides a clear viewing surface for detailed inspection. Keep it clean and free from fingerprints to help maintain a clear view of your specimens.
03
Folding Metal Housing
The hinged construction allows the loupe to fold into a compact form when not in use. The metal housing supports everyday handling and helps shield the lens when folded.
04
Protective Carrying Case
The included black, textured protective case provides a convenient place to store the loupe between inspections and helps protect it from contact with other tools.
05
Portable, Pocket-Sized Format
With a folded length of approximately 1.75 inches, the loupe is easy to carry in a collection toolkit, organizer or bag for convenient access during specimen examinations.
03 / MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION
Optical Glass Meets a Durable Metal Frame.
Optical Glass Lens
The viewing element is made from optical glass. Its smooth optical surface supports close visual inspection of mineral and crystal features.
Metal Loupe Housing
The main body and folding cover use a black-finished metal housing, with a visible metal hinge and fastener at the pivot.
Black Protective Case
The included case has a textured black, leather-like exterior, stitched edging and a snap-button closure for practical everyday storage.
Folding Lens Cover
The folding structure closes over the lens when the tool is stored, helping reduce direct contact with dust and other items in your toolkit.
Material clarity: The lens is optical glass, and the loupe body is metal. The carrying case has a leather-like textured finish; its specific leather or synthetic-leather composition is not stated as genuine leather.
04 / SIZE & DIMENSIONS
Compact When Folded. Ready When Needed.

Combined weight of the folding loupe and its protective case
Made for Portable Inspection
The approximate combined weight of 2.5 oz (71 g) makes DetailScope a convenient addition to a mineral collector's everyday kit. Keep the loupe in its case when transporting it to help prevent the lens and housing from rubbing against other equipment.
The listed weight includes both the loupe and the protective case.
06 / DESIGNED FOR COLLECTORS
Bring Fine Mineral Details Into View.
Crystal Face Inspection
Examine visible surface patterns, crystal faces and small features on quartz, crystal clusters and other suitable specimens.
Mineral Texture Observation
Get a closer view of grain patterns, surface texture and other visible details that may be difficult to distinguish without magnification.
Visible Inclusion Viewing
Inspect tiny visible inclusions and internal features when they can be seen through the specimen's surface and optical conditions permit.
Collection Documentation
Use magnified observation as a helpful companion when photographing, cataloging or documenting mineral specimens.
07 / HOW TO USE & CARE
Keep Every Inspection Clear.
01
Open the Folding Housing
Gently unfold the loupe until the lens is in its viewing position. Hold the housing securely and avoid forcing the hinge beyond its natural range of movement.
02
Position the Lens Near the Detail
Bring the lens toward the feature you want to inspect, then adjust the distance between your eye, the loupe and the specimen until the view comes into focus.
03
Clean the Lens Gently
Remove loose dust with a clean lens brush or blower. For fingerprints, use a suitable optical lens cloth and follow the lens-care guidance. Avoid abrasive paper, rough fabrics and harsh cleaning chemicals.
04
Fold and Store After Use
Close the folding housing carefully and return the loupe to its protective case. Keep it dry and avoid placing heavy objects on the case.
Inspection tip: A 10x loupe is a useful visual aid, but it does not independently establish mineral identity, authenticity, grade or treatment status. Use it alongside reliable reference information and other appropriate testing methods when identification accuracy matters.
