For fragile crystals, pointed mineral formations or specimens with delicate surfaces, place items gently into the tray and avoid sliding them across the plastic.
Use note: The raised edges help contain small loose items during ordinary sorting, but they do not lock specimens in place. Keep trays on a stable, level surface and handle heavy or fragile mineral specimens carefully.
